Flutter's arms spread over the length in front of her of her desk, her head falling on it due to frustration. This isn't any good. I can't finish my work if I can't read what I'm doing! But Sensei doesn't know I can't read... Will I be allowed to stay in advanced mathematics if they realize it?

Shin looked to see what the teacher was doing, once he saw it was safe he pulled out a piece of paper. 'She can't read it, so I will help her in the only way I can...' He thought as he wrote down the problem in number form for her. 'There, even if she can't read the problem she will know what it is this way.' Folding it once he was done he quickly slipped it to his friend and glanced in Flutter's direction. His friend just grinned, they were good when it came to passing notes around unnoticed, they did it all the time.

When she was given the note, she was surprised as she looked at it. It has the same numbers. Is this the number format of the question? Though she wasn't very subtle, she had learned a few tricks about sneaking notes to others in the hospital, so she wrote a thank you and did similarly before working on her work after understanding what to do. She let out a sigh of relief.

Shin received the note and opened it smiling as he read it. Quickly he folded it back up putting it away. 'Good, she understood.' He thought as he went about finishing the rest of his work now. Once he was done he slid his paper off to the side and pulled out a book.

After class, she felt a wave of relief escape her. She'd nearly dozed off again that period after she finished working. One of the nearby girls, who had tried talking to her recently and managed to get at least some comfort level from her (though not much) smiled to her and giggled about the notes. Until she found out what it was. "That was all it was?"

"Yes. Senpai knew I was struggling and wanted to help me." She smiled simply. "My note just said thank you. Which I plan to tell him now because I do, in fact, wish to be more formal. So... See you later, okay, Miaka-chan?" She smiled simply, waving and jogging lightly over to Shin, tapping his shoulder. "Senpai?"

Shin turned around and now looked at the person who tapped him on the shoulder. "Oh, hello. Were you able to finish your work alright after that? I wasn't able to do anything else, so I had hoped that would work." He said with a smile.

"Yes. I can't read words, but numbers are perfectly understandable to me. I wanted to thank you for helping me." She smiled simply, very mild in length of how wide her lips spread. She bowed politely. "Thank you very much for your help, Senpai."

"Hey, you are most welcome, I did say I would help you out and this was just one way of doing that. At least until you are able to read the words on your own." Shin replied back as he gently ruffled her hair, but not too much so it wouldn't mess up. "Well, I better get to my next class but I shall see you during lunch."

She laughed a bit, somehow not startled by the gesture. She smiled, waving. "Stay well, Senpai!" As soon as the words escaped her lips, she escaped to go to her next class, managing to make it to the right room easily.

Shin walked into his next class and grinned at the teacher. He decided today he would go to all of his classes and not skip any of them. At least not as long as he could help it. Taking his seat he pulled out his things, soon the lesson was started.

Flutter stayed in the library quietly, doing various menial tasks to aid the ones who ran it while keeping herself busy, though being careful not to let her health get overly drawn over. "It's nice to be able to feel useful..."

Shin finished his work and soon dug into his bag grabbing out his papers. Going through his notes he was reading them carefully. Once he saw everything looked correct he put them away and turned in his work. Then got started working on something else to pass the time.

It took her a long while to finish up her morning classes. After working in the library, she spent the rest of her morning in a room that seemed to torture her to no end. Once she found that morning classes had ended, a sigh of relief escaped her. Maybe I should eat on the roof today... Calmer there...

"Hey, Shin. You going to eat with us?" One of his friends asked.

Shin shook his head. "No, I'm going to be hanging out in my usual spot." He said, his friends already knew where that was. Shin always liked going up to the roof and being alone at times, they never really asked to go. They had went up there a few times but not very often. "I will catch you guys later." He said before walking off to head up to the stairs leading up to the roof.

It had taken her until after he'd already gone up the stairs to even get to them, not knowing he was up there. As she walked, remembering to be careful as to not fall back onto the floor this time, she opened the door and stopped short. She hadn't expected anyone to be there. "Oh- Senpai..."
